2006年7月间, 一群年轻的音乐爱好者与新加坡华乐团演奏家，谢家辉先生成立了丰加北华乐团。本乐团在2006年12月23日，呈现了第一场户外吹打乐演出，大受好评。在今年，2007年的农历新年期间，本乐团也运用了美妙与悦耳的音乐，带动了春节的气息。2007年3月18日，本团在丰加北民众俱乐部呈现了第一场售票音乐会，获得大家的好口碑。在各节日中，本团也不断地给大家带来一首又一首耳熟能详的曲子，与大家同庆佳节。

Hong Kah North Community Club Chinese Orchestra is formed in July 2006 by a group of young music enthusiasts and Singapore Chinese Orchestra’s musician, Mr Seah Kar Wee. On 23 December 2006, the orchestra presented its first ever performance for a Christmas celebration organized by Hong Kah North Community Club, and received compliments from the public. A group of young musicians from the orchestra also performed Chinese New Year songs to stir up the festive mood during this year’s Chinese New Year celebration. On 18 March 2007, the orchestra put up it first concert at the Community Club and received great acclaims. Throughout the year, the orchestra have been providing great music for the residents during various festivals and celebrating it together.
